Fall Festival

PACT: Stick Horse Rodeo
PACT (Parents And Children Together) is a program we offer to families with preschool-aged children to get together with other families for a good time!
October 1st is A Stick Horse Rodeo!
6:30 pm
Old Gym
Wear your best cowboy fashion and come for a rodeo suited for little ones! Expect some kid-sized cattle branding, pig herding, and lassoing, plus more!
Don’t miss out on what should be a rootin’, tootin’ time! Yee-haw!

Hey parents! This Sunday, Aug 1st is the day for everyone to move up a grade at church! Kids report to their new classes at 9:45am.

July 9-10 Houston Trip
Ok, here are the forms you need for the Houston Trip. The top form is the parent information packet. The bottom form is the medical release form that I need from each student going on the trip. T-ball Pics
The t-ball pictures are in the church office ready for you to come and pick them up. Sorry for the delay in this. The pictures did not arrive until after the final game was played. Please help me spread the word.

Summer Camp Day 1
Day 1 is in the bag and we got off to a great start. The beach is a total disaster thanks to oil that keeps washing up on the beach. However, once you get above the tide the beach fine so our kids spent the afternoon playing sand volleyball (in the clean sand) and swimming in the pool. The condos we are staying in are very nice, clean, and we have one more condo then we were expecting. Stuart Hall talked about letting the light of Christ shine through our hearts in all that we do tonight and sometimes the people who we choose to hang out with influence this one way or another. Tomorrow we will have our early worship at 9:30 am and the evening worship is at 6:30 I believe. You can listen to the evening worship by going to studentlife.com and follow the instructions. Tomorrow our groups will also be taking part in the volley ball tournament and defending our title from last year. Sadly this takes place during the united states soccer game! If you have any questions or just want to know how everything is going please call my cell phone at 225-953-4361. Also if you try calling your teenager and cannot reach them please call me! Continue to pray and ask God to show up in a mighty way.

Stick Horse Rodeo–Rescheduled
We have been so excited about the Stick Horse Rodeo this Friday night. Unfortunately, it seems that everyone is busy with summer vacations, family reunions, and ball games. Due to a lack of sign ups, we are rescheduling this event for October 1st. This is an event that we definitely want to see be a success and we want to be able to provide this opportunity for as many families as possible. We don’t want anyone to miss out on the fun!
Don’t forget, our next regularly scheduled PACT is August 20th—Wet ‘N Wild! More details will be provided very soon!
